A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

Can I read without an account?

A Ming account is not required for private reading and notes. Your personal library uses your device's iCloud Drive account. Posting public comments requires Ming sign-in and public-discussion access.

What leaves my device?

Books, private annotations, notes and reading state use your private iCloud Documents library. Downloaded speech models stay on the device. Public comments and the passage they refer to are shared when you publish them.

Can I keep my notes private?

Yes. Personal annotations and article notes are separate from public discussion. Writing a note does not publish a comment.

Which devices can I use?

Ming supports iPhone, iPad and Mac. All three use the same public TestFlight link. Public beta approval is currently pending.

How do I get updates?

Install and update Ming beta versions in TestFlight. Once installed, open Ming directly from your Home Screen or Applications. This website does not provide app installers.
